That's where we need to focus, people and our relationships with them. How much of a true relationship can be built if the people involved never meet or talk? Can true relationships be built with only what we learn of each other through chatting/instant messaging? Can we believe the words on the computer screen without any other context to hook them to? It takes work and trust to build and keep such a relationship (friendship). Because there is very little to make the bond deep and meaningful it can be easily broken for some, harder for others. I guess for some of us over 30 it's hard to let only technology(social media) be our tool of communication, our tool of trust. Some of us still want that eye contact, that intonation of voice, that body language to help us build relationships: professionally and personally.PatESLnoreply@blogger.com
