Why Are Some QR Codes Scanned More Than Others?

Lab42 surveyed 500 Americans over the age of 13 to discover where people saw QR codes, how they were using them, and why they were scanning (or not). Take a look at the infographic below to see the scantastic results:

  1. I think QRs are the best thing since white bread. But I've never scanned one. It's not that I don't know what they are or how to use them, it's just, well, a silly reason I guess. I don't want to give up my metallic pink Razor. Yes, I know, it's had better days: puppy chew marks, the battery won't hold a charge, dings on all sides from being dropped (although, not in the toilet, thank goodness), and the picture quality isn't up to par. Plus, all the other modern features I'm missing out on because I love pink and how easy it is up use. Flip, answer-flip, dial. Easy as pie, just unable to get me a discount on a piece.
